The QRDA is an association dedicated to the furthering development of motorsport in Queensland. The club caters to all categories within Queensland circuit racing and is affiliated with the sports governing body CAMS. We have monthly meetings, and if even if you are not a member, come along, ask questions have a beer or watch a video. The QRDA is a club of motor racing enthusiasts which include not only drivers, but car preparers, business owners and others of more diverse interests. We all share the same goal, that being to make the sport that we enjoy so much grow and prosper.

The QRDA promotes and runs it's own race meeting at Morgan Park, Warwick on an annual basis, as well as holding social events for members such as our Christmas Dinner/Trophy Night. We conduct club championships for the various categories that race at Morgan Park throughout the year and have an overall club champion's award which goes to the best performed club member irrespective of the type of vehicle they drive. The QRDA is NOT a "one category specific" club, it is represented by competitors in all categories of circuit racing. Often, clubs which dedicate their interests specifically to one category or class of racing lose sight of the larger picture, that being, to improve motorsport as a whole for both competitors, officials and the fans in Queensland and on a national basis.

Some past and present members of the QRDA who have gone on to achieve great things in their motorsporting careers include Mark Larkham, Max Wilson, Cameron McLean, Paul Romano, Chris Clearihan plus many others too numerous to mention.

Yearly membership fees of $50.00 per competing driver and $25.00 for an associate member are extremely competitive, making the QRDA one of the most inexpensive clubs to join in Queensland. Members receive regular editions of the QRDA club magazine "Grid Torque" which is recognised as one of the most informative motorsport club publications, a QRDA key ring and QRDA membership card.

I hope you will consider becoming a member of one of the best motorsporting clubs in Queensland, the Queensland Racing Drivers Association.
