About the QRDA
Established in 1971 to give Queensland drivers a unified voice in motor sport, the club continues to look after the interests of its members here in 2026's modern world and participates in the development of motor sport in general.
During each circuit racing season of the past few decades the QRDA has run a popular club championship, known as the QRDA Drivers Championship, where club members race each other in their own categories and every member accrues an average points tally for the year to determine the Overall Club Champion. In addition to Category and Overall Club Champion awards, we award Rookie of the Year, President’s Trophy and the Family Shield.
We also take great pride in our fundraising activities outside of motor sport, with 2021 of note recording a new club record of over $5000 raised for the Children’s Hospital Foundation from a single event.
The QRDA continues to maintain a low cost of membership, no joining fees, and an affiliation with Motorsport Australia that sees our members also become Motorsport Australia members and be able to apply for competition licenses with them. The QRDA is one of the prominent clubs that has maintained an ongoing presence on the Queensland State Council of Motorsport Australia.
Members come from a wide variety of disciplines and levels, from Off Road and Rally through to Superkarts, from Super Sprints through to the Supercars Championship. Most of our members though compete in one of the categories of the Queensland Circuit Racing State Championship.
Please have a look around our website and make yourself at home, there are sections for our Categories, our Championship, the Club Calendar as well as our Contact Details and a feed straight from Facebook.com so that members who don’t use that service can keep up with the latest news regardless.
The Queensland Racing Drivers Association Inc. is a club for anyone who loves their motor sport, always open to new members and people looking to become category specialists and leaders.
